I imagine if you are a fan of Bill Mallonee’s work with VoL you probably already know about his free download offer on his site. If not, he is offering his “Summershine” project for FREE. Also, he has a special offer which if you buy one project you get a second one for free…pretty nice. He is doing this in an effort to introduce his music to a wider audience.
I’m pretty stoked that Jakob Dylan, the youngest of Bob Dylan’s sons; has his first solo project coming out on June 10th.
Jakob used to be the front man for Wallflowers who had some mild success in the 90’s, their biggest hit being “One Headlight”. Since the hits,Wallflowers has recorded a bunch of music for TV Movies and shows including CSI…which I also dig!
The project will be available at my favorite third place in the universe, Starbucks on June 10th.
A quick post to thank the good folks at True North Records for providing us with music to play on the soon coming music and talk version of Humble O Radio.
Hopefully independent artists and labels will follow soon, I hope so.
While I am at it I will take the time to thank a few of the artists and/or their labels for helping us to establish our library for the launch of our station.

I don’t usually sign autographs at my shows. I just don’t like it. To me, it is a dead ritual that means nothing. Not because I dislike people but more because I know my own failures, shortcomings and insecurities that find me every day.
Yesterday, I had an idea for a topic. Today, I just can’t remember it. Today, I am reminded that the days of life are going by. I have heard people say that time flies for them; I still don’t know what time is. That is more rhetorical than actual. No, I don’t always intentionally pun. Well, let me not waste that which I don’t know and get to the topic. “Soul Bling.” Soul bling has been flashing through my mind lately, in particular “Christian t-shirts.”
