Be part of something different.
Please know we want DIFFERENT. There are plenty of wonderful “Christian Blogs” out there for fine, churchgoing Christians to read and slap their AMEN onto. We have no desire to be another one of those.
We want our writers to have a bit of an edge to them. Speak to people who do not speak the church lingo who may have left the church and have no desire to be IN CHURCH but still desire a relationship with Christ.

Humble O Radio has its roots in conversations over coffee.
These conversations were between people of faith who were wondering where God was in the midst of trials. Some well meaning people would shoot from the theological hip but that wasn’t good enough for them and frankly, it isn’t good enough for you.
The audio, video and written blogs on this site are here for people from all walks of life at all stages in their journey of faith, even when they feel like they’ve gotten off the path and have no faith. No worries, that hand that used to guide you is still there for you to hold too.
Humble O Radio is a live and interactive online radio stream that will feature music, compelling talk and interesting blogs from a Christian World View. We are looking for bloggers who are interested in writing weekly on the following topics (200-500 words per article).

- Finances
- World Religions
- World Politics
- Health
- Music
- Art - Theater
- Technology and Gadgets
- Science
- Empty Nest
- Grand Parenting
Payment is in web exposure and the gratification of a great team environment. We’re doing something so unique, it’s been catching on organically even through a lazy winter. Just wait till we start actually working on it.

Writer…Interrupted was birthed out of my own need to connect with other writing moms. Though I found many wonderful mommy blogs that talked about raising families, none met my unique need of balancing a writing career with raising a family. Soon after I launched the Writer…Interrupted group blog I realized there were other writers, fathers, employees, caregivers, and students who were also interrupted in their writing.

…No, I don’t mean what you might find up the nose of a Christian with a cold.
TheBereanCall.org’s radio program, Search the Scriptures Daily, quotes an Orlando Sentinel article from Feb 22/08 on evangelicals and global warming:
“Global warming is an offense against God….America needs our biblical outrage….we as a nation will face a judgment from God if we don’t do this.”
– Rev. Richard Cizik, National Association of Evangelicals’ vice-president of governmental affairs
Cizik has been covered by enviro mag Grist, the Washington Post, PBS’s Religion & Ethics Newsweekly and Christianity Today for his opinions on global warming. Other major evangelical leaders, including James Dobson, have called for him to be silenced or fired for his stance on the climate change controversy. According to a quote referenced by Christianity Today, Jerry Falwell brands it “be[ing] duped by these ‘earthism’ worshippers.”

So who is the most important person in the Bible? Well, besides Him, of course — and his Son and his Spirit.
It’s a curious question really, and maybe there’s not an answer. There are definitely people highlighted more than others, though that’s not necessarily a measure of importance. Saul takes up a good chunk of chapters, but in the long run he seems to be more of an oops than important. David steps in and his branch takes over the whole story.
I don’t really even mean honored. Isaiah, for instance, resonates to our day as being a great prophet. But, in the story he’s more of an observer and color commentator. He’s vital as a narrator, but not as a player.
How about Noah? He’s important. If he didn’t have that faith which builds boats then the story suggests humanity would have been wiped out.
David and Noah are important, for the Old Testament parts. As is Moses. We can’t forget Moses. Or Abraham. Abraham is a rather vital guy for all sorts of reasons. Maybe we could throw in Paul and Peter and John for the New Testament — both because they were major players and because if not for these three we wouldn’t really have much of a New Testament. Thank God for the writers, eh?
These are people we know. So they seem especially important, and for good reasons. But I’m thinking there are others. I’m constantly struck by the character actors in the text. You know, the men and women who show up, say a line or two, and then disappear.

A quick post to thank the good folks at True North Records for providing us with music to play on the soon coming music and talk version of Humble O Radio.
Hopefully independent artists and labels will follow soon, I hope so.
While I am at it I will take the time to thank a few of the artists and/or their labels for helping us to establish our library for the launch of our station.
