Brian McLaren was interviewed by The Wittenburg Door and he was asked, “…how do we reclaim the term “Christian evangelical” so it can have a positive connotation again?”
To which he responded
“I think we need to go back to what Jesus said, “Let your light shine before humanity and they’ll see your good works and glorify God the Father.” We need to invest more of our energy in the doing of good works and less in this “culture wars” rhetoric because our world is in crisis, and we need a whole lot more good works about now, and a whole lot less talk.”

My name is Marty Daniels and I am a Comedian. For 15+ years was involved in broadcast radio at various stations around the country.
In 1988 I turned my world upside down and accepted Jesus Christ as God.
In 1997 I left the church while still believing that Jesus is God.
It’s 2007 and I still believe that Jesus is God…and like a lot you I am sorting out my relationship with the church.
Tonight I’ll be hosting episode 10 of Humble O Radio and my guest is Ann Bandini. We’ll be talking about why so many people are leaving the church…where they’re going…are they still Christians? What’s up with “The Emergent Church”? Is it just a hippie subculture for people who are burned out on dressing up? What about house churches and so on.

Tonight we had our largest live listening audience since starting the show. Thanks to everyone who was part of the show at Humble O Radio.
Tonight we talked about

- International actress, comedian, and motivational speaker Joann Pflug joined us.
JoAnn starred in the feature film M*A*S*H as well as TV series Candid Camera, The Fall Guy, Quincy and the game show Match Game and other famous roles. She talked about her conversion experience and being baptized in the pool at Pat Boone’s house and eating off the same plate as Hollwood great, Jimmy Stewart.
JoAnn has a million stories and she is hilarious, hopefully she will join us again in the near future for ROUND 2!

Humble O Radio is a net based LIVE INTERACTIVE Talk Show hosted by Christian Comedian Marty Daniels. It’s a fun, funny conversation about today’s events including Life, Culture and Faith and how each one of those areas impact the other.
Tonight we discussed Christians being crazy, the line between grace and judgment, the war in Iraq, the moral obligations of the military to explain to young kids that when they sign up for a college payment program that they very well may become warriors. We talked about the churches backing out of many segments of culture and ideas of how the church can get up off the mat and engage culture again.

I want to thanks to my special guest co-hosts over the last couple of weeks while Bob was sick, Brian and Shawn Chrisagis better known as “The Chrisagis Brothers” Over the last 20 years Brian and Shawn have rubbed elbows with Hollywood Superstars and some of the elite ministries in North America.
