Mohammad, Jesus and Moses Walk Into A Life

I just read a curious report on Yahoo News that stated movie director, Sean Stone has converted to Islam while filming a documentary in Iran. No rpoblem there, sounds like something a lot of people have been doing lately. Where I get lost is in the following quote from Stone where he reportedly says
“The conversion to Islam is not abandoning Christianity or Judaism, which I was born with. It means I have accepted Mohammad and other prophets,”
Is it just me or does that sound like the most ridiculous statement in the world? I’m a Christian and only mildly familiar with the teachings of Islam, more so with the teachings of Judaism so I can’t speak to how that would be pleasing or even faithful service to any of the mentioned religions. Specifically the Christian faith says that we can have only one master because if you have two you will love one and hate the other, so while this guys thinks he has gained a new family, he has just set himself to war within.
What do you think?

Complain if you must, but don't lash out. Keep your mouth shut, and let your heart do the talking. Build your case before God and wait for his verdict. — Psalm 4:4 (MSG)Categories
