Humble O Radio Episode 12
Tonight we talked a little bit about Marketing of Christian items. There is a fine line between accurately describing what a product or service does and simply “hustling Jesus”. When that happens, we see a flood of Jesus Junk on the market and sadly we see a lot of people clamoring to have these items.
So what items are in that Jesus Junk classification?
It’s only my humble o but I believe that most t-shirts, toys, audio and video, gift items, jewelry, magazines, books and all snack foods are dominated by a majority of things I would call Jesus Junk. Not all of it, but a lot of it and in my estimation, most of it.
For instance, look at these items as strong examples of pathetic offering.
- Testemints UGH!!!
- Everything at We Are Fishermen dot com!
- Armor of God PJ’s
Those should get your stomach turning.
